Addiction concept and meaning

Scientifically addiction is a brain disorder where the person cannot control himself from engaging into rewarding stimulus despite the adverse effects and harmful consequences. It is a psychological disorder where the mind loses its power and capacity to decide and function normally after a certain point. it is to anything can result to push one towards fatal diseases which sometimes are incurable. Addiction to drugs can cause lifetime complications whose consequences include altered neural plasticity in the brain and loss of productivity. The intake of drugs alters and reverse the normal functioning of the brain by changing its structure. This causes the brain to relapse.
