Society is a group of people sharing a common interest, within them. This is a group, which develops in its variety of rules and norms which are must, to be followed by an individual. Society can have in it any number of persons. It may or may not have a head to lead or to make rules of that society
Parts of society:-

Static society:- is a society which is mostly stable and remains unchanged for most of the generations. This society transfers its rules and norms, like a gift from generation to generations without changing its original form.
Folk society: – A folk society is small, isolated from the other society. Peoples of this society are mostly ill-literate and culture is homogeneous with a strong sense of group solidarity.
Nomadic societies: – Nomadic societies migrate from one place of settlement to another with their luggage on animals. The medium of transportation remain confined to old patterns without adopting new patterns
Sedentary society: – Sedentary society is a society with people having a permanent resident. They do not migrate rather resides in a permanent home.
Industrial society:-Group of members, in Industrial society is characterized as the groups of person, acquiring or working under an acquired industry.
Gemeinschaft society: – Gemeinschaft society it is a German word which means community. Members of this society are close, bonded to each other with a close relationship. For example – a society of friends, they are connected to each other with a high level of trust.
Primitive society: – Primitive society is a society whose members are mostly ill-literate. They have a very basic and primary level of education and that is why no signs of revolutions are expected from this society, and they stand correct on expectations and remain unchanged for many generations
Rural society: – Rural society is those societies which are composed of very little population and members. Agricultural society is a well-known name which is given to this society. All people are employed or self-employed in the same profession.
Urban society: – Urban societies are those societies, which are having, in themselves, a very formal relation. Members of these societies are not linked to each other with a sense of fraternity rather connected with a professional sense.
Modern Society:- it aims at expanding education, technology and grows with a clear vision of creating and developing a clear theory on the matters of subject relating to science.
Secular society:- it is a society which can be considered to be non-religious, but a negative explanation of any society is not what society expects from the sociologist, so perfect explanation of this society can be as such:- a society which respects every religion, without favouring and following
